List of available positions for Bachelor’s Degrees in Engineering

For any information about the admission procedures for Bachelor’s Degree courses in Engineering (2024/2025 A.Y.), please consult the Notice (DR 57 of 16.01.2024) (link to the Regulations)

If you’re a Non-EU candidate and you require a STUDY VISA, please follow the procedures listed by Italian Ministry for Universities and Research for Entry, Residency and Enrolment at Higher Education Institutions for Students Requiring VISAS for higher Education Courses in Italy (universitaly.it/studenti-stranieri) and submit your pre-enrollment request through Universitaly Platform (www.universitaly.it).

NOTICE: Students who are currently attending their fourth year of high school and pass the test must sign up for the competition via their esse3 page and enroll in the 2025/2026 Academic year.

Dates and deadlines (STANDARD SESSION)

• Test dates: 5th and 6th of September 2024
• CISIA Portal test sign-up dates: 30th of August 2024 at 14:00, until all available positions run out (for tests that will be taken on the 5th and 6th of September 2024)
• Competition sign-up dates (ESSE3 Portal): from the 7th of August 2024 until the 30th of August 2024 at 14:00 (GMT+2).
• THOSE WHO WISH TO SIGN UP FOR THE P-TECH COURSE (WHICH IS ONLY DISTRIBUTED IN TARANTO) MUST SELECT “TARANTO PERCORSO P-TECH LT17 INGEGNERIA INFORMATICA E DELL’AUTOMAZIONE (Sessione Standard)” IN THEIR ESSE3 PAGE. Candidates who wish to enroll for any other Bachelor’s Degree course in Engineering must select the “SESSIONE STANDARD” tests.
• The ESSE3 sign up is essential, as it finalizes your choice of course and your insertion in the ranking. Students may not choose when to take the tests, as the date must be selected in the CISIA portal and is not mentioned in ESSE3. The TOLC-I test is exclusively distributed by the Politecnico, only in the TOLC@CASA mode, where students will take the test online, from their own homes. Student may also not choose other ways to take the test.
• Enrollment dates (for winning candidates with a suitable place in the ranking): from the 10th of September 2024 at 00:01 (GMT+2) until the 13th of September 2024 at 12:00 (GMT+2).
• Enrollment dates (for any eligible non-winning candidates): from the 18th of September 2024, as long as positions are available and the form listed in Article 10 of the Notice has been filled out (from the 10th of September 2024 to the 13th of September 2024).

For all kind of information regarding the admission procedure for the Bachelor Degree Courses in Engineering (A.Y. 2024/2025) you must carefully read our "Bando di Concorso" (Competition notice) (DR 57 of 16.01.2024) (link to the Regulations).

If you need a Study VISA for Italy (e.g. non-EU students living abroad) you must follow the Procedures issued by the Italian Ministry for Universities and Research for Entry, Residency and Enrolment at Higher Education Institutions for Students Requiring VISAS for higher Education Courses in Italy (https://www.studiare-in-italia.it/studentistranieri/) by submitting your pre-enrolment request through Universitaly Platform (www.universitaly.it). Please note! If you choose a Course TAUGHT IN ITALIAN LANGUAGE, you need to know Italian language (B2 Italian language proficiency is required). If You haven’t a valid Italian language B2 certificate you must overcome our Italian language test.

Please note: Those who are enrolled in the fourth year of high school and who will pass the test will have to register for the competition on Poliba Esse3 and subsequent enrolment in the A.Y. 2025/2026.
Indications for registration and enrolment will be published in February 2025.

Deadlines EARLY ADMISSION TEST

• Dates tests: 28.02.2024 and 29.02.2024 – 20.03.2024 and 21.03.2024 – 10.04.2024 and 11.04.2024 - 29.05.2024 and 30.05.2024 - 14.06.2024
• Registration deadlines to Early Admission Test on the CISIA portal until the max number of available places and under the conditions specified on www.cisiaonline.it at the following link https://testcisia.it/calendario.php?tolc=ingegneria
• Registration deadlines to the competition (“Concorso”) on the Politecnico di Bari Esse3 portal: from 01.02.2024 to 25.06.2024
  Please note: Registration to the competition (“Concorso”) on the Politecnico di Bari Esse3 portal is necessary in order to choose the Course of study and consequent possibility of being included in the Ranking (Graduatoria). Registration to the competition (“Concorso”) on the Politecnico di Bari Esse3 portal doesn’t permit to choose the date of the test. The date of the test must be selected exclusively on the CISIA portal. TOLC-I can only be taken in TOLC@CASA mode from your home. Registration on the ESSE3 Portal does not give the possibility to choose a different method to take the test.
• Enrolment deadlines for winners placed in a useful position in the ranking: from 17.07.2024 (from 00:01 a.m.) to 24.07.2024 (until 12:00 a.m.)
• Enrolment deadlines for that candidates who are not in a useful position in the ranking (Ripescati) according to art.9 of the "Bando di Concorso" (Competition notice): from 26.07.2024 (from 00:01 a.m.) to 30.07.2024 (until 12:00 a.m.)

Admission Procedure - Deadlines

Candidates must apply through the application procedure within our student platform Esse3 from 29.08.2024 to 01.10.2024.

In order to access the application procedure through our student platform Esse3, candidates must access their personal page on platform Esse3. Therefore from the secretarial menu, it is necessary to select “Test di Ammissione” and then “Ammissione anni successivi lauree triennali di ingegneria a.a. 2024/2025” and follow the procedure.

The evaluation request of the previous career is an independent procedure from the admission procedure and the related change of course.  Therefore the evaluation request of the previous career is NOT mandatory for those who applied for  Admission Procedure to 2nd / 3rd Year in Engineering.
